Mr Amit Agrawal, Managing Director, Jagdamba Power & Alloys Ltd, takes over as Chairman of CII
The new CII Chhattisgarh Chairman vows to work shoulder to shoulder with the State Government to spur all-round development in the State
Mr Amit Agrawal, Managing Director, Jagdamba Power & Alloys Ltd, takes over as Chairman of CII Chhattisgarh State Council for the year 2020-21, Mr Sandeep Goel, Director of Shri Bajrang Power & Ispat Ltd, becomes Vice-Chairperson.
This was announced at the Annual Meeting of the CII Chhattisgarh State Council on 29 February 2020.
Mr Amit Agrawal is a commerce graduate from Sydenham College of Commerce, Mumbai and a well know figure for managing the group & marketing in steel industry, Mr Agrawal has tremendous knowledge and growing experience in getting things implemented. He is the gem for the organization and his contributions have made the Hira group unmatchable in the steel industry. He is a key element in the growth of the group.
He helps converts all ideas and policies into execution with adroitness that has helped the group to reach a new high in the secondary steel market. He said “CII is confident that under the leadership of Shri Bhupesh Baghel, Chhattisgarh will reach to a new heights in India”. CII will step up its activities to attract greater volume investments across sectors in Chhattisgarh.
Mr Sandeep Goel on the other hand holds a degree in Commerce (Hons.) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi. He has achieved the milestone reputation as an innovative member in increasing the business of the group specially the GOEL TMT through various promotional and advertising inputs implied for enhancement of sales in the captive marketing region.
He has a vision to make his company one of the major players in the field of steel & power. He proactively leads a team focusing on new business development and had passion for technology and advance solutions.
Both the new CII Chhattisgarh Chairman and the Vice-Chairman made a “solemn pledge” to step up CII activities and work hand in hand with the Government of Chhattisgarh and other stakeholders to help realize the vision of taking the State on the road to robust industrial activities, fast growth and all-round development.
